Privacy Policy

This policy explains how AIM Real Estate Brokers LLC (“AIM Properties”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you use aimproperties.ae, contact us or speak with our advisors. We process personal data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) and its implementing regulations.

Who is responsible for your data

AIM Real Estate Brokers LLC, The Citadel, Office 2910, Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (P.O. Box 282164), is the controller of the personal data described here. For any privacy question or request, email info@aimproperties.ae with the subject “Privacy”.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry

Our contact, property, project and landing-page forms ask for your name and phone number, and optionally your email address, your message, your budget or area of interest and how you prefer to be contacted. With the form we record the page you sent it from, the language you were using, the listing or project it concerns, and any campaign tags in the link that brought you to the site (UTM parameters).

When you chat with our AI property assistant

The assistant receives the messages you type so it can search our listings and answer you. Conversations are kept in your browser only for the current session and are not stored on our servers. If you ask the assistant to pass your details to an advisor, we store the enquiry together with a copy of the conversation so the advisor has the context. Please don’t share sensitive information (such as passport, Emirates ID or bank details) in the chat.

Security and abuse prevention

To protect our forms and services from spam and abuse we use Cloudflare Turnstile, apply rate limits, and keep a one-way (hashed) version of your IP address with each enquiry. We do not store your raw IP address with your enquiry.

Analytics and marketing cookies — only with your consent

We use Google Tag Manager and the measurement tools it manages (such as Google Analytics) with Google Consent Mode. Until you accept analytics and marketing cookies in our cookie banner, these tools run in a restricted mode that sets no analytics or advertising cookies. If you accept, they use cookies to understand how the site is used and how our campaigns perform. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser; the banner will then ask you again.

Information stored on your device

The site stores a few items in your browser that never leave your device unless you send them to us: your cookie choice, your preferred currency and area unit, the projects you add to your shortlist, the campaign tags of your visit (for the current session) and, for the current session, your AI assistant conversation.

Why we use your data and on what basis

  • To answer your enquiry and help you buy, sell, rent or invest: on the basis of your request and consent, and to take steps toward a contract you ask us for.
  • To follow up about properties that match your interests: with your consent. You can ask us to stop at any time.
  • To measure and improve the site and our campaigns: only with your consent to analytics and marketing cookies.
  • To keep the site secure and prevent fraud and abuse: as necessary to protect our services and our clients.
  • To meet legal and regulatory obligations: including real estate brokerage rules (RERA / Dubai Land Department) and anti-money-laundering requirements.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed with:

  • Our advisors and our customer relationship management (CRM) system, where your enquiry is assigned to an advisor.
  • Developers, landlords or owners of a property you ask about, only when needed to arrange a viewing, reservation or transaction you request.
  • Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract: hosting and backups, Cloudflare (network security, content delivery and Turnstile), Anthropic (the AI model that powers the property assistant), Google (Tag Manager and Analytics, with your consent), and email delivery providers.
  • Authorities, where we are required by law or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.

The AI assistant is operated under business terms that do not allow the provider to use your conversations to train its models.

International transfers

Some of our service providers (including Cloudflare, Anthropic and Google) process data outside the UAE, for example in the United States or the European Union. Where we transfer personal data outside the UAE we do so as permitted by the PDPL, relying on contractual safeguards with the provider.

Maps and links to other sites

Area maps on project pages are drawn on our pages using OpenFreeMap map tiles, which receive standard technical data (such as your IP address) when the tiles load. Some pages offer a Google Maps view or a WhatsApp link; if you open them, Google or WhatsApp process your data under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other websites.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and client records for as long as needed to respond to you and manage our relationship, and afterwards for as long as required by law (for example, brokerage and anti-money-laundering record-keeping rules). Then we delete or anonymise them. Session data stored in your browser expires when you close the tab; other items stay until you clear your browser data.

Your rights

Under the PDPL you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • delete your data where we no longer need it or have no legal basis to keep it;
  • restrict or stop certain processing, including direct marketing;
  • transfer your data to you or another organisation in a structured, machine-readable format;
  • withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing that already took place).

Email info@aimproperties.ae to make a request. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within the time the law requires. If you are unhappy with how we handled your data, you can complain to the UAE Data Office.

How we protect it

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, rate limiting and regular backups, and we limit staff access to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the authorities of a breach where the law requires.

Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. We will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
